Risk Management. This interactive one day course is designed for directors, risk managers and senior managers in both the public and private sector. It aims to increase awareness and understanding of risk and risk management within the changing/emerging corporate governance environment and providing risk management skills, tools and knowledge needed to embed risk management as an ongoing process.

Project Planning. Project Planning and Control This interactive two day course provides an ‘end 2 end’ description of what good practice looks like. The focus on day one is around planning is and demonstrates techniques and tools for Project Managers. Day two concentrates on Project Management Control techniques, including reporting and change, optimisation and risk.

Team Building. Cambridge Management and Research designs and delivers highly effective team building, team development, leadership training and outdoor management development programmes throughout the UK. We take the team requirements and tailor the exercises around these. We can arrange the location and venue.

Myers Briggs. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. Training Tools allow for focused classroom programmes to be blended with our range of team building formats. All of our Training Tools are delivered by qualified practioners and can be used for a multitude of business objectives such as improved communication; change management and conflict resolution.

Function of PSO. The Functionality of the Project Support Office  This course provides an understanding of the role of the Support Office for  projects and their management throughout the project lifecycle and how they  can enhance communication with other areas in organisational departments.    We aim to breakdown the areas of functionality of a PSO and relate it to  case studies taken from real projects and demonstrate to how to create a  successful PSO.

Project Start Up. We focus on embedding the principles of establishing good Project  Management techniques from the concept stage of a project.    We breakdown the project requirements at start of the Project Lifecycle and  the benefits of incorporating excellent planning techniques on all scale of  Projects. We provide real case studies in all our courses, and outline  typical causes of Project failure due to poor planning techniques.

Cost Benefit Analysis.
This course will provide an understanding of cost planning and benefits  management on Projects. We will take the delegates through the tools and  techniques commonly used by Project Managers on all stages in the Project  Lifecycle to accurately estimate project costs, and their presentation  including Earned Value Analysis and S-curves, and then link this to the  benefits to be gained to the organisation when delivering projects.

 Methodologies.
This course draws upon from extensive research across all the Project  Management methodologies commonly used today including APM Bok, PMI BoK,  Prince 2 and MSP and a comparison has been compiled across them.    We will take you through the common processes and procedures contained  within them, and how they can be applied to your Projects, and case studies  demonstrating how these methodologies can be applied effectively.
